About Us
Michele is a licensed massage therapist in Washington, DC and Virginia, and completed professional training at the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage, and the Thai Institute of Healing Arts in Northern Virginia. Her integrative and holistic approach to bodywork is influenced by her study and practice of different styles of massage, energy work, yoga, and experience in athletics. Michele creatively combines a variety of Eastern and Western techniques including stretching, acupressure, energy balancing, and movement.

Traditional Thai Massage
Traditional Thai Bodywork incorporates a combination of acupressure of the major ”sen” lines in the body (a system of energy lines,) deep yogic stretching and mobilization to move energy, or “lom”, throughout the body. For this type of bodywork the client is clothed, and the client should wear clothing that is easy to move around in. No oils or lotions are used.

Thai Herbal Therapy (By special request only)
Thai Herbal Therapy involves adding hot steamed herbal compresses to the yoga therapy session. These herbal compresses are hand-made in Thailand, using a special blend of aromatic herbs containing natural anti-inflammatories. This service is excellent for relieving sore muscles, joint stiffness and sinus congestion.

Thai Foot Reflexology
A combination of foot massage and acupressure that reduces tension in the feet, legs, and body.

Reiki
Healing is channeled using energy fields around the body, aiming to remove physical and emotional blockages and restore balance.
